Among other things, I wanted to give the Siglent logic probes a nicer home instead of leaving them in a plain cardboard box.
Siglent could have thought of that too, given the price.

I scored a used Tohnichi torque wrench, very nice for wheel lug nuts (I needed it for a crank bolt later that calls for 330Nm). My old 3/8" deflecting beam torque wrench was half the length, so this is a lot more comfortable in use and the ratcheting head is handy. These are USD1700 new, I paid around USD250 shipped.

What an excellent tool, made in Japan too. Seems to be bang on, good enough for my DIY use.

Two cheap digital lups from China.

They do differ quite a bit both in res and focal point.
Tearshape, needs to lay on what you wanna enlarge, and can also record video with a small sdcard, do have some memory on board (without added SD card) but is only valid for a limited amount of pictures.
The other unit got focal point, around 2 cm out, and will only do pictures with an added SDcard.
I like them a lot, very convenient way to enlarge smaller things.
price is around 12 to 15€ (incl. 25% EUVAT)

Nice, I hope you'll get much use out of it. Do you do car maintenance and repairs yourself? You might want to look up what the axle nut torque specification is. It is usually pretty high. It's 216 Nm on my small 905 kg Toyota Starlet car. If you can use your torque wrench for that than you can do advanced car repairs.

Yup I do most things except suspension work (big spring very scary haha) and/or if I need a car lift. I usually use race ramps for fluid changes or jack stands for brake work.

Yeah axle hub lock nuts are in the 200Nm range, same with the suspension members x chassis. Usually the highest torque bolt on a car is the crank pulley x crank shaft bolt, at the 320Nm mark, but it is very rare you'll have to do it unless you need to rebuild the engine or you have an old car like I do and the front main seal is starting to leak. (but everything made of rubber is starting to fail on the ~30 year old JDM sports cars I usually work on)

That torque wrench goes to 360Nm so fingers crossed I should be OK for any car my family or friends own. Now I would by lying if I said I didn't have search strings bookmarked for the other sizes....you have to complete the set right?

What can be useful for car repair work also are endoscope cameras. These can be found pretty cheap these days - but beware, while the cheap ones do usually work, image quality if often pretty poor.
