Not really electronics-related, but will be useful to any engineer.
So I want to manage a personal construction project, it will take around 12-18 months.
In the project I'll have many dependencies, many contractors with mixed costing: hourly, per job done, materials, fees, or any combination of these.
I am looking for a free or sub-$10 management tool for convenient planning, time and budget tracking. Preferably with gantt chart, online (so it will work on windows and android).
What I have found so far.
Most online tools, even though they tick all other points, are designed for development teams: no budgeting and no external resources. While in my case it's all I need it to be about.
Tried redmine, tried clickup, tried teamgantt. None fit my needs.
In the end I found this:
https://www.ganttexcel.com/Runs on excel, really old school. Has a very nice implementation and everything I need, and, most important, I can specify external resource and cost to every task. The problem is that it will not run online (including office365) and is too expensive ($80, free version only goes up to 10 tasks).
So, are there any alternatives?
