5th day unable to pass customs. they want to charge vat as well.
waiting, no answers/solution from : customs, ebay, seller, postal service.
some IOSS nr.? can get it only by buying shipping label on ebay.?

Likely it is included in the shipping address the same way as it earlier happened for Norway and some other countries. And seller screwed up by not putting it on the package. Probably just used address in an email from PayPal, AFAIK not everyone is included in ebay managed payments yet.

Ask for partial refund for amount paid in VAT. If seller refuses, open a dispute on ebay. Attach a photo of a label on the package, so it's apparent there was no IOSS nr., and proof of additional VAT paid.

Requirement of IOSS Number on EU Imports:
Where eBay has collected VAT on your shipment to the EU (up to a consignment value of 150€), eBay will provide sellers with eBay’s IOSS number to use as part of the import information. Sellers should only use this number in connection with eBay transactions. Where eBay becomes aware of seller misuse of the eBay IOSS number, eBay will take necessary actions against the seller.
Sellers must provide eBay’s IOSS as part of the electronic export pre-notification documentation provided to carriers. If eBay’s IOSS is not provided correctly, then buyers may have to pay VAT again on delivery.

code is added by the seller in about half the instances. So I've started

IOSS nr was printed on package
before shipment. maybe it should be entered in some system???

customs came up with copy & paste s** (f*** off its your problem now) and gave some thin clues what I need and where to get. and its called their help centre or something.

updates: up to 20 days for ebay to process refund.

IOSS number is per seller, not per country or recipient, so ebay has at least one, amazon another, etc.
