As everybody else said. Also, I don't like the idea of pirating one of the few remaining electornics magazines.
I have appreciation for Elektor and Silicon Chip because in Latin America we have this insult to the hobby called "Saber Electrónica". Basically, they post the same circuits over and over and 50% of the magazine is about either cellphone unlocking, car service (sometimes barely related to electronics) or consumer electronics repair. They have little respect for copyrights and frequently present standard application note and datasheet circuits as the greatest circuit of all.
The editorial is so bad in fact that the best articles are the ones written by outsiders, but that accounts for less than 10 pages usually. There is rarely an article that doesn't contain something that turns it into a show-stopper. I really seriously don't know how the hell they still haven't stopped publishing. They once mistaken an astable 555 oscillator with a monostable one and vice versa
in a tutorial article!
This abomination is why I am against pirating good quality niche products and content, like Silicon Chip and the Saleae Logic with the clones.
