Avo Model 8 for me!

Some of the Metrix VOMs were pretty good, as were  the  Aussie made University Graham .

We had individual Avo 8s in the lab, pre DMM. After years of reading about Avos, I remember being rather disappointed with handling one in the flesh. They seemed to have a bit too much bearing stiction on slow moving voltages and didn't seem that intuitive - the calibration dept guys were always moaning about how many movements they had to change because people had wrapped the needles.
Best Regards, Chris
