Viewers may remember a recent video where Dave got some marker pen on an anti-static mat. Isopropyl alcohol may remove the ink but if it does not please do not be tempted to try acetone. I just tried using acetone to remove some spray paint from a mat and the mat melted.

Mats at work regularly survive acetone. As usual "Try it on a invisible spot", ymmv.

Marks on a mat are no big deal, shows it's used.
