Terrible Effquake in Christchurch !

Hoping WillieFleete and others forum members in NZ have survived OK.
To my relief my friends and relatives across the ditch are all believed to be OK. my thoughts go out to any affected or any who have loved ones affected.

Yes NZ was also an major subject, in the Greek TV today ..

Man this region has been getting hammered so far this year. I am thankful that Australia is pretty much geologically inert.

Hopefully this time the NZ government will require proper earthquake standards for new and old buildings. And maybe people will understand that just because a structure performed to code once doesn't mean it can safely do so again.
