Super Game Boy gets an upgrade

If anybody here is old enough to recall the Super Game Boy, an adapter for the SNES that lets you play Game Boy games on it, iit's been granted an upgrade. This was made in response to the major flaw with the original device, where the clock speed for games played on it was 2.4% faster although was corrected with the Super Game Boy 2, released in Japan only.

While it allows games to be played at the original "wrong" clock setting and the correct one, the clocking speed can be modified while a game is played on it. However, it comes in the form of a circuit board that people with "sufficient soldering experience" can make use of (and more so replacing the original board with it).

So... thoughts?

Bad link.  Such mod boards almost always require soldering and alteration of the original PCB, just the nature of the beast.

I looked into this a while back and figured if I got a SGB I'd get the first version (much cheaper) and fix the clock myself or with a kit.
