That reminds me of when, many years ago, the Japanese component manufacturer, Sato, produced a line of spring terminals which came already mounted on a plastic base -----a very convenient idea.
The base was meant to have SATO moulded into it, but the mould designer somehow had a "brain fart", & it read "OTAS".
They still sold them like that---probably the Boss said "They're only for Geeks, who cares?".
Of course, they could have changed the whole company to suit the mistake & renamed it Otas!
A hardware shop near here did something like that.
It was originally called "DEAN's Hardware", but somewhere along the line, the "D" fell off the sign, & people started jokingly calling it "Ean's".
Given lemons, the management made lemonade, renamed the business "Ean's", & even had a cartoon character called "Ean" in their ads.
