At least they are not touching the hot side of the soldering iron in the videos. But this guy should practice a bit more, and maybe use a better soldering iron ;D

When you have a big pipe wrench, everything starts looking like a pipe.   ;D

I don't know about you, but my nuts certainly tightened up :D

As for buds picture, I think they are (successfully) trying to scratch up the chrome surface.

I think you've mixed up this thread with the Snakeoil / Audiophool thread.

If someone were to turn on the iron, not only would she loose her fingers, she'd melt into a puddle of molten silicone... >:D

Something like what. (I found this picture in completely irrelevant flame, and Google did not give anything useful, with the exception of a link to some Vietnamese website (which demands to disable adblock… or javascript), where it was lost in 37 pages of similar photos).

P.S. New, non-standard, way of carrying a soldering iron:

Has someone shown this picture yet? Anyway, I guess this is not the proper way to measure the diameter of a corrugated conduit. Besides, the image title says "Young female maintenance engineer testing voltage with digital multimeter.

seems like an appropriate place to hang a meter where you can read the display while probing voltage

If you want a 30 minute video of a girl soldering stuff, here you go:

And talking about "sexy female engineers"…

(Warning! Full image size - 3 megabytes).
The full image is even in PNG, for the videofools who can't stand even the slightest of compression artifacts blocking their view.

I wonder if that bikini is ESD safe. Probably doesn't matter considering neither Naomi Wu nor Sarah Petkus need one to maintain their dominance in that area.
