7x7mm outline, of course.  Which, 8 pins/side minus a bit, should be around 0.75mm pitch. Which is typical for like the TQFP AVRs, 0.8mm pitch I believe.

What they have in the tweezers though...

I went through the effort of skimming through the video, and what I think Fungus meant to showcase was the area between 7:04 and 19:30 (minutes:seconds). They show a lab (which honestly looks quite empty to me) with some oscilloscopes, displays, boards, and some unknown device, likely a benchtop meter.

Is that a 6 pin sot-23 or an SOIC6. Lucky I guess, for the name, that it is not a Small Outline Diode of one form factor or another.

SOT-23-6 I'm sure. At the zoom, and low JPEG quality, it is a bit hard to tell though.

It also needs to include a warning that anyone at middle age or later shouldn't watch it because they may not live long enough to see it through all the way.

How much of an Apple fanboy do you have to be to sit through an infomercial with a runtime that must be at least fifteen years?  I mean, I ran about three hours of it in the background and when I foregrounded it again the progress bar read 8m27s.

Yeah, that was horrible, sorry. You can mute the sound for the entire video, you won't miss much.

There's FNIRSIs scattered through the whole "lab" at various points.
