A steam group will work for all members across the globe too, a TS server as well and we are all set for some shenanigans

If anyone is open to new things and liked the sonic genesis games we can try a fan game called Sonic Robo Blast 2.

It's a 3D sonic game based off the doom engine, and it's a 3D sonic game done right. Totally free and I am willing to host a server.

And it's doom engine. I have an IBM 325 server that can play it. XD

PlanetSide 2 is free to download and free to play(can get it through Steam).
Drive tanks, fly aircraft, run and gun, infiltrate, repair or heal.
1000 players on 64Km map.

If EU, then join Miller server as Vanu Sovreignety.
I am lowly player there (aiming for 0.5 K/D!), but I can help if only to drive you round and explain things.

I am in the middle of designing the spec for a new one.
I think I will go back to just 2 monitors though - maybe 4K...

Nice box. Good old 9800GTX. Had one too until 3 years ago. And at work at that time a Quadro FX4800

and that's about it.  not many parts, but its supposed to be a minimal build.

added/unexpected bonus: when I bought a new tv (vizio 39" m-series) and connected it up with win7, I was able to set the refresh at true 120hz for 1920x1080p.  wow, 120hz really makes a HUGE difference, and its using just the onboard intel video.

I have a pair of media bridges (asus 68u) that link the htpc with my nas and the rest of my home network.  getting good link speed, too:

I hope you don't use ZFS volumes for backup purposes... (afaik i3 doesn't support ECC memory)
In all likelihood you don't, otherwise you wouldn't have an LSI 9211 in your box
