Hello,
I was not sure where to post this so ended up posting it here.
I am working on a IoT device which collects data via RS485 and sends it to cloud. I have tried my best to add safety features like reverse voltage protection at input and TVS diodes etc. at the output. But I want to test the protection to see if its working as intended. Can anyone suggest me test equipments/circuits to test such protections? One of the main uses of this device is to collect data from household/industrial single/three phase energy meters.
TIA
