Transistor Texter!
« on: April 22, 2015, 12:44:30 pm »
Tired of texting your friends? Well, now they've invented a way to text your favorite transistors. This way, they can tell you their parameters in a text message!

I told my friends I could teach them to be funny, but they all just laughed at me.

I have one with the same insides but no spelling mistakes. Take care to fully discharge caps before popping them in, or you'll have one destined for landfill, like I did.

I have an older "transistor tester" but I saw a newer version in a video that's got a whole lot faster startup speed. This one -

I ordered it, but I don't know if it will "text" the transistors or not. I just ran across that funny labelling in the process of looking. Some of them are starting to package the things a little better, but they still have some work to do as far as the labels.  :)
