Better version of "cat drinking fishfood", including fish asking: "Leave something for us, mate!"

Wonder, by the depth of the surface of the pond, they are adapting to anti-gravity drinking.

I'm surprised the cat does not try to catch the koi carp. Like both of them though. We had a big koi pond when we lived in Nunhem. Was a lot of work though. Here we have a big pond with regular carp in it. Don't see the fish that much, them being dark in color :)

Edit: when that picture was taken we already had the house in France and spent a lot of our time there, so the fish where not in the pond any more. Gave them to a koi enthusiast.

We started with a Dutch carp, who came probably as an egg when we put some canal water in the pond, to make the pond biostable. The carp got bigger and bigger and then started jumping out of the water, till I couldn't save him any more. Loneliness, I suppose.

So we bought a few sort of goldfish, a few little koi's, to fill the void. Going well, without extensive engine rooms that seems to go with Koi-enthousiasts. First they have to go through the winter.

The cats are enjoying the fish, but Billy killed the frog in the end.

Edit: like the house, like the styling of the pond, the curve makes it infinite.

If it jams, force it.  If it breaks, you needed a new one anyway...

I was hard when Lia died, she was an abused cat that had been seriously injured when we got her. We had her eight years and when I think about her I don't think about her leaving, I think about the good life we gave her and how happy she was.

Yeah.  They always leave us too soon, and it hurts like hell when it happens.  The good thing is that over time that hurt fades mostly away, but the good memories stay strong.  Good on you for taking her in and giving her a good life.

Boomer discovers the door to the basement(and my lab). He has not yet been given access but is getting awful curious.

He is also noticeably bigger than when we got him just 1.5 weeks ago, growing like a weed he is!

Keri at the bench, Koko on the bench. He's a sweetheart - or a stupid fat lazy cat with no ambition whatsoever. Just kidding! I love him.

That looks like a very satisfied cat there under the table.

For the piano cat I feel a little bit sorry. Does not seem to mind it that much or was sedated to make the video. Don't think many cats will endure the loud sounds of the strings so close by.

Well update:

There she is with 2 months in the house. After all I kept her, wasn't able to let her go.

Her name is now Wanda, from the Marvel's Dr. Strange comics.

This photo was taken at the vet for her shots, probably the only time I saw her calm. Other than that she has been a great company, my kid loves her, my wife not so much because of how mischievous she is.

The flexibility never ceases to amaze me.

Pictures of him sleeping are easy, when awake everything is just a blur.

(luckily cats are not explosive and can't be used as weapons).

Sorry can't resist. Have you ever felt the nails on these delightful creatures, and just make them mad, they can be explosive :-DD

But to not pollute the discussion about the TEA, I post it here where it is about cats.
