On our side, still winter siesta mode ON
The above picture is the last one of my lab assistant Rocky (first row on the left) he have been poisoned by the "poet" next door.
That creature left the poison for Rocky on the garden wall and later spent an hour following his agony - all is taped on CATV.
All reported to police... but chances for real justice are poor.
Letting an animal suffer like that is sick beyond words!  Makes me so angry... >:(  Sorry for your loss!

I hope that his dreams, house and mobile phone will be haunted by cats. But I would not expect any cat, corporeal or not, to take this on itself! Heartfelt condolences. That pic was so nice.

Cat physics calculations.

In this case, a remarkable jump/fall (under a very high stress situation)- that spring landing amazes me.

This one, not so much.

Cats have this amazing suspension system instead of bones which connect their legs to their bodies. I've seen a cat jump down from 10 to 20 meters (from a tree) and run away myself. I bet they are feeling sore the next day such a jump though  8)

The garden. And critter.
Some say cats are aloof.  However, when they are not hiding, they prefer to choose to loaf around where their favourite humans can see them being aloof.

Cats are nature's Flâneurs.
Anybody got a syringe I can use to squeeze the magic smoke back into this?

My cats disagree. They say that Flâneurs (I had to look that up - thank you for sharing!) are human cats.

I don't know what they're saying, but I'll bet they're plotting something.

Poor Ed!

Poor cat, too.  To anyone who hides their poop to avoid tracking by predators, having a nice head scritch interrupted by what to the cat's senses can only be described as a challenge, "I'm so much more powerful than you that I shall now commence pooping all over you to teach you a lesson", must be really scary and alarming.  I think the cat handled itself pretty well, considering.

Honeybee loves to model. She posed in her Halloween costume for longer than five minutes. Her body language (front paws tucked under) says she's quite comfortable with the arrangement.

A cat who loves to model?
Have a look at CatPusic:

His YT channel:
https://www.youtube.com/c/CatPusic/videos

CatPusic is a very smart cat. I for myself do not like very much those modeling videos but besides that, he is acting very smart.

One of the neighbours, popping in at a 2nd storey window to see if anything interesting's happening.

Anybody got a syringe I can use to squeeze the magic smoke back into this?

Actually the sensor of one of those cheap "in/out" thermometers. It HAS been chewed and batted about by the various cats that like to pop by the "first floor cat entrance".
