Unfortunately this one is no longer with all of us:

Yes, the famous 'Grumpy Cat' has passed away.

I know a guy who is a network admin who actually had a cat named Five. ;)

My first cat was named Delphi (it was a foster cat, now it's gone to its forever home), so my next will be Pascal ;).
Nope. Should be 'Modula', in reverse order of time.

RIP Grumpy Cat!

This is a cat from our street. Not sure to whom it belongs, but he is way to much friendly.

Not a cat person but I am sorry for your loss.  It is always hard to lose a family member, be they 2 legged or 4.

Fun website where guy trained an AI to understand the relationship between 2000 images of cats and their line art equivalents.
You can draw a cat diagram and have the AI turn it into a real cat photo, or at-least try too :-DD

https://affinelayer.com/pixsrv/

Note: On some computers the website doesn't work. I think it uses some CPU extensions not found in older processors, or maybe it uses CUDA for all the AI processing.

A variant of the famous saying: Mi Casa es Tu Casa....

For a cat this changes to: Su Casa es Mi Casa.

Yesterday I've visited the HAM Radio in Friedrichshafen / Germany.
During the lunch break there were some people from Ukraine and they
carried a cat with them in a box. The box is weared in front of a person.
Couldn't resist and asked If I could take a picture of their cat.
Because of my very limited knowledge of the Ukrainian language
I think the cat's name is "Haako".

Wow - those are some intense eyes!  Beautiful!  Don't think I've ever seen a cat with such dark reddish-brown irises before.  They must really be something to see in bright sunlight!  Beautiful cat!

My first cat was named Delphi (it was a foster cat, now it's gone to its forever home), so my next will be Pascal ;).
I was initially confused since I thought of Nvidia GPU architecture codenames and don't recall Delphi being one of them. And also that Pascal is an older generation with Turing being the latest.
:oI hope you never try to eat them.
It is *not* common for the Chinese to eat dogs and cats.

It was not uncommon, but with time that practice appears mostly gone.  Indeed, it's common to see east Asians with cats as pets and some of the most cat loving people around.  There's a Chinese school that has a cat and the cat is worshiped by the students and faculty.  Times change!

Some minority ethnicities in China eat dogs, such as Korean Chinese.

I ate dogs, but I don't like to eat dogs. It's just a family gathering premium food in my maternal family before my Korean grandpa passed away.

And FFS, we Korean Chinese don't eat pet dogs.
Among family farmers, it's apparently not even common to eat chickens and ducks that are considered pets.
