For those of you not in the U.S., the Lattice video is actually a pretty good spoof of the ShamWow guy, a rather unfortunate fixture on American TV for a few years.

There weren't any. Vince (the guy in the video) saw some German rags that became the ShamWoW at a flea market and bought a ton and started marketing them (and later the SlapChop). As far as I know the videos were just him and a contracted film crew.
