Same here. Switched to using the Android Browser instead of Chrome and it's back

It works, but the text is too large and it doesn't keep track of what I've read etc between the desktop and my phone. For me and how I use stuff it's sort of like having a less readable, less functional, overly busy version of the mobile web pages. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I was using firefox on Android 4.4.  I loaded it on Chrome, and the mobile format is back.  Would still like it fixed for firefox...

Not sure about your browser but on my Android tablet I'm using and ICS (Ice Cream Sandwitch) browser and on the settings I can change the user agent to Desktop instead of Android under Advanced Settings.

If you leave it on Android it keeps wanting to force tapatalk on you.

I seem to consistently get either the mobile or the desktop version on my phone for a month or two before it flips to the other for no apparent reason, perhaps a cookie expiring. I actually prefer the desktop version but I'm not that fussed.  Tried tapatalk and really didn't get on with it. The "get tapatalk" prompts seem to appear occasionally but I'm not sure what controls when I see them.

To answer the original question: on IOS I consistently get the tapatalk question as well as the mobile version.

Thanks but it doesn't make a difference since I've had the Tapatalk adds. Will probably have to clear caches but meh.

You should have a per site settings menu somewhere on your browser.

Mobile version still working fine for me on my 'phone with Firefox and Chrome on Android Lollipop 5.1.1.
