Red paint on stickers on top and back.
Knobs for rotary controls removed before red paint.
I get the impression that this scope was never intended to be on the market again.
Does Tektronix use the same methods as Gibson Guitars, i.e. order dealers to destroy products replaced under warranty before throwing them in the trash?
