Actually, I am a proud Italian guy with an insane passion for electronics, and I moved to Austria for my job; I work in the automotive field.
That's all, see us in the forum!

Hey guys, I'm Connor, from the US. I'm a community college student with many interests. Not too sure what I want to do with my life yet, currently studying Music (Cello performance/Composition) and math & science (Chemistry/Physics, still unsure as to which). I like electronics (obviously), computer science, video games, comics, good books, RC, photography, 3D printing, and on, and on... Looking forward to having some fun on the forum!

Hi! I am Juan Medrano, from Guatemala, a little country in Central America. I have just noticed I never introduced myself here
![Face Palm :palm:](https://www.eevblog.com/forum/Smileys/default/facepalm.gif)
. I have had the idea to send Dave a postcard, we have beautiful places here too! So in this little country the technological development is still poor, but we are making some steps, we now have something like a mini silicon-valley for software. I am passionate about electronics, I love it, analog or digital. I hope to write useful posts here, but probably I will be learning much more than posting. Great work Dave, keep the videos going!

Hi everyone! I've been on here for awhile and I had not found time to introduce myself. I hail from the upper-Midwest of the United States. I am currently finishing up my last year of graduate school (RF emphasis) and I am excited to start putting my knowledge to use. Hopefully my job will let me do that, haha! I stumbled across Dave via a colleague who liked the AmpHour podcast. Summed up, Dave really knows his electronics (most of the time that is). His teardowns and videos in general are top-of-the-line! I applaud him for doing his best to try and spread the valuable experience he has learned so far!
The reason I am drawn to the eevblog is the focus on hobby electronics. There is something satisfying about building a circuit or programming a uC to do something completely on its own. All of my projects are like my children. It's awesome to see them grow but they really annoy a person when they behave badly.

Hello all,
My name is Bob Snyder I live in the U.S. I've been an electrician for 23 years, I currently work as an automation technician in Wyoming and I have been an electronics hobbiest since I was a kid, I have been a lurker for some time and enjoy Dave's blog.
This seems like a great bunch of guys, I'll try not to tick anybody off

Been a member for a year, but haven't written much at all. I mostly hang out on a swedish electronics forum. That means I understand swedish. Beacuse I live in Sweden. Not Switzerland. We do not wear leederhosen or featherd hats, and do not joddle in the mouontains.
![Grin ;D](https://www.eevblog.com/forum/Smileys/default/grin.gif)
I've been into electronics since I was like, I don't know, 10? But really didn't understand the basics until a couple of years later.
However I did know how to get my LEGO motors and stuff running from batteries at kindergarten.
![Cool 8)](https://www.eevblog.com/forum/Smileys/default/cool.gif)
Now I'm 37 and working with fiber optics. The electronics is all hobby. Got my lab in the basement. Eagerly waiting for the inspiration to finish off the electronics for my bench CNC mill. *sigh*

Hello, I'm Jeff.
Did electronics as a kid, simple stuff, power supply, simple amp, multivibrator, rechargeable "power" system for my bike.
I recently got back into electronics, starting with simple projects built around microcontrollers, slowly started putting together a lab/play-room.
Lately I've been all about working with analog electronics and learning as much as I can, building circuits as I learn about them. I'm a hobbyist, but that doesn't mean I don't want to learn as absolutely much as possible and aim for projects as challenging as possible without skipping important steps.
I'm pushing 40, but since I've picked this up again, I feel like I'm 13 again, that in itself is worth it.
If anyone comes across my posts, have no fear of being critical, as long as it's constructive and you really know what you're doing. I'm more than happy to be wrong because it means I have a chance to learn something I didn't know.
Cheers,
Jeff

Hey, I'm Martin, age 25, I'm electrician for 5 years.
I started doing electronics since age 12, I found an neon indicator from a broken stove with resistor and played with it. I live in Estonia, the bombhole of eastern europe
![Cheesy :D](https://www.eevblog.com/forum/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)
.
I builded my first project at age 15, it is one transistor flyback HV generator using parts from scrapped TV, project still works and does plasma in burned out bulbs. The current is too low to pop bulbs.
I had my own 2X36W fluorescent light fixture by age 16, first (only) multimeter
![DMM :-DMM](https://www.eevblog.com/forum/Smileys/default/smiliey_dmm.gif)
by age 19.
I don't have an oscilloscope, I looked for it, but problems start to accumulate, so getting it is postponed temporary until the living conditions gets better.
I'm a noob at electronics design, my first audio amplifier project had too many filters and caps.
Amp ProjectI'm upgrading my skills, so any constructive critisism/suggestions are welcome.

Hello everyone, my name is Darko, I'm 18 and I'm from Serbia. I'm currently in high school, course mechatronics, and I intend to go to university also mechatronics.
I've stumbled upon one of Dave's videos, and I really liked it, been watching them for a while but only recently registered to the forum. Like every beginner I'll try to help out a little that I can, but I'll mostly learn from this forum. So thanks everyone, this is a wonderful place for any EE's and hobbyists. looking forward to learn new things.

Hello from NC. I'm just about done with my Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering at my local community college. I'm also involved in a work-study there as a teachers assistant to my program director. I've been a casual viewer of the YouTube channel for about a year now, and I figured I would join the forum community.
I am currently in the process of building a FIRST style robot for our lab. The goal is to keep the design modular enough for use in multiple classes and labs.
See you around!

My name is Phil
I started in the US air force in 77 working on radar for the F4 Phantom, got my 2yr degree, got my FCC class 1 and did microwave communications, instrument calibration and then ended up at a small college in NY where I have repaired and calibrated measurement equipment for the past 23 years. I found this blog and it put some fun back into the rather tedious life of calibration. The curse of keeping stuff working is that I rarely see much current test equipment due to the robust stuff from the 80's and 90's still kicking. Very interesting discussions on the blog and good to see novices are treated so well.

Hello everyone, I have been watching the videos on YouTube for some time and have decided it would be a good idea to join the forum. I am interested in electronics as a lay person and have done simple repairs to a variety of things. I admin a automotive forum devoted to the KIA Soul and I moderate a second on the same vehicle. I love to collect old computers and cell phones. And my favorite color is red. Hrmm.... Not sure what else is needed but if you have any questions for me then fire away!

Hey everyone,
My name is Dakota, I'm 16 and just getting into hobby electronics as a regular thing. I currently sell and repair cell phones to be able to fund projects and buy tools (And of course save for university).
So about a year ago when I started soldering (Using a Metcal at work), I have to say my technique was absolute crap., watching David's videos really helped.
Anyways cheers,
Dakota

Oops, somehow I missed this thread and I just posted in introduction in the General Chat
![Tongue :P](https://www.eevblog.com/forum/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)
It's this thread:

Perhaps the mods could move that post in here? Not sure what abilities they have over here.
Anyway, hello everyone!
Matt,

P.S. Is the verification for every post going to always be there, or is it just for new members?
