Electronics Version...
« on: October 02, 2013, 02:24:00 pm »
My Biology teacher showed me this poster on organic chemistry, and I thought hey! we could make an Electronics version of this! Crowd fund it, whatever. We could include basic ohm's law, calculating decoupling caps, linear and SMPS regulators, OP-Amp tutorials, etc...

This would be so cool.
I'm not saying we should kill all stupid people. I'm just saying that we should remove all product safety labels and let natural selection do its work.

That is delightfully complicated. :-DD I'd love to see what an electronics version of that would look like. I can't even imagine.

Exactly. I would LOVE this to hang up on my lab wall.

I wonder where I could get the biomed version, just that would be awesome as a poster.
Come and check my projects at http://www.dgkelectronics.com ! I also tweet as https://twitter.com/DGKelectronics

Maybe not so complicated or complete as you thought but I've seen this one on hackaday: http://hackaday.com/2013/09/28/electronics-everything-reference-poster/

does not seem very good though since the images seem to be a little blurry.

Heh, I actually use some of that stuff for some non-electronics interests. Although I prefer KEGG. Because it is awesome. And clickable, and has shitloads of linked info. And you can highlight nodes with url encoding. This one http://www.genome.jp/kegg-bin/show_pathway?map01100 + gene cards is damn handy for the interested bio-n00b on the go.

jpegs were used for some of the source material so a lot of the text and the details are lost due to compression.

It would be really cool.  Just a little bit could be added at a time and eventually it will create something like that.  How big was the poster?
