My workshop ^^
« on: March 15, 2018, 03:14:31 am »
the front half of my apartment building use to be a Radioshack franchise and my landlord has let me use the old repair shop below it. I was able to set it up because of the amazing kindness of the members here. Especially ModemHead and PualAm who were over the top kind and sent me practically an entire electronics lab. I wanted to post a update for you guys. Sadly tho between midterms and going through the boxes and boxes of tech left behind by the radio shack I haven't had the time to really work on projects. So I figured I would post pictures of my workshop

Thank you all so much for all that you guys have done <3

PS I have a special project planned for ModemHead and PualAm just waiting for a few parts to come from aliexpress ^^

 :-+ Is perfeckt!

It looks like a less shit version of my basement, if my basement had a load of cool stuff in it (or a neat sign).
I forget who I am sometimes, but then I remember that it's probably not worth remembering.

Congratulations and nicely done.   :-+ :)

Your new setup appears to have all the makings of an electronics empire, well almost anyway. One word of advice though is that you alter or remove those cable/ lead hangers located above the Panasonic sign in the second picture, they appear to be mounted at a really nasty height and aiming to take somebody's eye out, which is the last thing anyone wants to see.    :o ::) ;)

I'd get half a dozen tennis balls, drill a hole and stick them on the end.

That's a nice-looking workshop.  So much space.  Complete with a bottle of root beer!  Glad I could help.

If you have access to a small drill press, drill holes in a 1x2  at regular spacings to hold 16 penny nails spaced to the diameter of your cables.  Your cables will thank you for being allowed to hang straight  And you'll thank them for being more cooperative.
