Peak Oil Bites Dust
« on: March 04, 2012, 05:25:27 am »
Greetings EEVBees:

--See the below link to an article from The Register about the death Peak Oil.

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2012/02/23/peak_oil_is_dead_citigroup/

“World consumption of oil is still going up. If it were possible to keep it rising during the 1970s and 1980s by 5 percent a year as it has in the past, we could use up all the proven reserves of oil in the entire world by the end of the next decade.”
James Earl Carter 1924 -

I class this publication as questionable based on it coming from a UK publisher.

Dear PeterG:

--You said:

"I class this publication as questionable based on it coming from a UK publisher."

--The all Brits are liars policy, certainly saves a lot of effort on disproving factual assertions. I am being unfair. They are liars only if they publish something. Is that correct? You might notice that the article is supported in its factual assertions by cited data from Citi Group, British Petroleum and the World Bank. Now, if the data on oil and gas production by Citi, BP, and the World Bank is authentic, it is hardly likely to become untrue merely because it is mentioned in a publication, which has its headquarters on the island of Great Britain. No?

No matter how you look at this argument, the topic of 'Peak oil' has been debated by both sides over the years. The only way we will know for sure is when the oil runs out.

The British media that has questionable Morals is controlled by an Australian who resides in the USA. And what is absolutely certain is the problem is top down within Newscorp.

Greetings EEVBees:

--There you have it folks. The reports are in. Statists find that, indeed, no facts that could possibly exist, could possibly falsify the "Peak Oil" and "AGW" theories. One says that any fact that contradicts his beliefs can be regarded as questionable if it ever appeared in a British Publication. Another, makes the astounding claim that an Australian Jew controls British Media, even those that are owned by his competitors and take positions against him. A third, bases everything on "all I know is", without regard to any facts that that may circling the area, on the theory that once one develops what one considers a "common sense" notion, no further information will be of any help.

--It reminds one of those religionists, who predict the end of the world. When it does not come true, they just move the date forward a couple of years, and increase the volume. It would seem that they can never be proven wrong. Repent you Petroleum Using Sinners, the end is nigh!
