Just noticed minimum order at Mouser for free shipping is only £33 - and they were £15 cheaper than Digikey on my last £150 order.

Looks like Mouser also lowered the free shipping amount from 200 CAD to 100 CAD for Canada. They are also more aggressive on pricing then Digikey lately. The last decent sized order I placed saved over 500 dollars because of a specific RJ45 jack that Mouser has for a much better price.

Indeed, I noticed that about ten days ago. Mouser must be getting some seriously good Fedex rates, and I thought mine were good.

I wonder if they actually make a dime on a £33 order to the UK, and it's not a marketing gimmic?

My own current Fedex rate is currently £10.19 to send a 500g package next day to the US and most of Canada, which I've had for about five years give or take, but I do send thousands of items per annum.

Farnell is currently free delivery on any order, but I'm not sure if they have a minimum credit card limit still. I live about five minutes' drive from the trade counter where I can buy anything in the UK or Liege warehouse for no extra cost, though

so I don't really worry about it...

The weirdest thing is that Fedex "Economy" costs me a lot more than "Priority" (aka next day).

There is another tier, which to certain select locations will do same day UK to US and EU if picked up by 10am or so, that costs about £75, pretty impressive, about the same as a cab ride from Gatwick to Central London.

Wow for me the free shipping threshold became EUR 50, and even below that, shipping is only EUR 20. IIRC for Latvia the free limit was more than EUR 200

and the shipping cost for orders below that about EUR 45, so I didn't even bother to order from them as I can get most of the stuff from TME for much cheaper and remaining parts usually from Farnell. Seems will give it a try.

Well for Canada they haven't changed the shipping carriers at all. I can still choose from Fedex or UPS next day air delivery. If I only wanted to order 2 dollars in stuff though then Digikey still wins, they offer next day air for 6 USD.

They have changed from 60€ to 50€ plus VAT for free shipping. Not a big deal but...

In Canada the shipping from Mouser and Newark/Farnell is high for a small order. DigiKey is still $8.00 and I get it the next day.
