Don't connect your test gear directly to the internet. Trap for young players.
Tektronix scopes and LAs from that era came with a relatively standard mini-ITX motherboard as I recall, and Windows 2000. While it was possible to run any program on them, I think it was not *this* easy unless you managed to quit the main application (which was in full screen) which would get you back to a Windows desktop (not sure I recall that) or at least a command prompt. But someone having used these more than I did may remember better.
So I don't know how realistic the picture above would be, but that's certainly funny.
