Actually no joke i bought some real acupuncture needles for use as probe tips. They are cheep, thin, sharp, don't oxidize since its stainless steel...etc They actually make good probes for poking around tiny components on boards. They also work well for unclogging small orifices like 3D printer nozzles, spray nozzles..etc. Tho one has to be careful with them because they are insanely sharp, just lightly touch the tip of it and you have practically stabbed yourself.
