"Lubricate" 2 Metal thinks?
« on: July 29, 2020, 01:35:52 pm »
Hi
I have a Airline Trolley with Alu Drawer and the inner Rails are a little bended so its hard to get them in and out.
Is there a way to "Lubricate" it with something who is substantial and can use for long terms? Maybe the ordinary petroleum jelly?
Silicone Grease? Weapon Oil?
Thanks

Try with a medium-duty lithium grease.

Or you could.. fix it, instead of making the sticking point a little slippery.

Well I dont know what happen. I dont investigated to much. I dont want say from what Airline it was. The did a horrible Paintjob to.
The 2 Halfsize Trolleys are very fucked up. I need to fill some holes with that gui stuff and than a nice Lack Paint Foil should get on top to give then the nice Airline Look back.

White lithium grease would be my recommendation for this purpose. Not that any lubricant is likely to properly solve the problem you describe.

??? Wahts that?

Ky jelly is water-based personal lubricant. Wouldn't work very long in your application, but I doubt it was a serious suggestion.
