It's kind of like you've given everybody a big blank page to write on... except that there is no shortage of pages to write on that people already use with interesting stuff to read.

You haven't built anything new and different, haven't filled a necessary need.  It's not that the topics are wrong or the screen is the wrong color.  You haven't created the reason for people to post there.  Someone can post a question here and it's viewed by hundreds of people, including knowledgeable people that may be able to help.  Why post on your page where maybe a handful of people will even read the post?

You need a unique selling point.  The fact that a person can be the first to post a question in any of a number of categories isn't it.
There's no point in trying to tell him, he won't listen, you're wasting your time.

This thread is starting to get annoying.

Does this forum have an ignore thread feature? It would be nice not to see this crappy thread when I click on the show unread posts since last visit link.

I made the same mistake by responding to the thread. Now I get excited seeing a thread I've posted in been bumped only to be disappointed that it's this one.

I'm sorry, I wasn't here during holiday. But I'm back now.
I have one "unique selling point". I worked 7 years as service technician in KyoceraMita company. I created specific area for questions of this topic. I can use my experience to help anyone.
So please visit Electro fórum.
Thank you
