How to not take auction item pictures...
« on: October 29, 2013, 03:51:13 am »
So I was just browsing eBay for McIntosh amplifiers and stumbled upon this gem: http://www.ebay.com/itm/McIntosh-MC7106-Amplifier-6-Channel-Power-Amp-MC-7106-/131031208577?pt=Vintage_Electronics_R2&hash=item1e82119281

Anyone want to ask him what his favorite beer is?

 :-DD

I will agree with you there, another one is when the item is either sideways or upside down.

Whatever his favorite beer is, he apparently was imbibing a bit too much when these pictures were taken.  I can't understand people who are trying to sell something and then post small, fuzzy, dark pictures that don't show you anything.  And then they say something totally witless like "See the pictures for details."   :wtf:

I'm not even sure he wants to sell it at all:

No returns, item is too delicate to keep shipping back and forth.

The item has not been tested but was extremely well taken care of and is immaculate. I have no doubts that it is in perfect working condition.

Does anyone else read this as "looks nice but doesn't actually work - tough luck"?
