If there was  an app(IOS & Andriod), that will be much more easier to read on the phone, Just a suggestion, TKS~! :)

Dedicated apps for websites are a bit 2015. Making them responsive and legible on any device is the current status quo.

There is. I know some like it but I found it utterly horrible and gave up within a few hours.

There's an app for that. It's called a browser. I don't get why everyone and his mother make an app to do what can be done with a browser and a web page. And they even write the app in html and javascript. It's silly.
The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it.

Cryptocurrency has taught me to love math and at the same time be baffled by it.

Cryptocurrency lesson 0: Altcoins and Bitcoin are not the same thing.

Yeah. I rarely use this forum on a mobile phone, but I have tried on occasion with a simple web browser and the forum is responsive, so it's perfectly usable. Just bookmark the forum's address in your favorite browser.

ghost, turn off "Request Desktop Site" in your browser. If I navigate to https://eevblog.com/forum/unreadreplies/ or whatever, I get a special simplified interface for mobile that works rather well. I can see that your phone is just displaying exactly the same page that is displayed on a computer, which means your mobile phone browser is failing to request the mobile site.

You probably came across a bad site with a broken mobile experience in the past, turned on "pretend to be a desktop PC" mode as a workaround, but have  since forgotten to turn that back off again.

When you used to browse the forum on mobile using firefox/chrome tapatalk used to keep harassing you to us tapatalk instead.
It was like it rolled a 6 sided dice every time you loaded a new thread/page and if it came up 1 it would popup, "Hey do you want to use tapaptalk!"   It was worse than Microsoft clippy in annoyingness, which is saying something.

It put a bad taste in a lot of peoples mouths and we swore never to use that damn piece of software on principle.

It doesn't do that annoying thing any more but a lot of us will never forget and never forgive it.

You can turn Tapatalk's default signature off, of course:
https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/tapatalksupport/remove-hide-sent-from-my-using-tapatalk-s-t40687.html

But I am quite happy with the "mobile view" which this website defaults to when viewed in my phone's browser. No further App required.

The problem is that many people don't. Spam is unwelcome, even when other people are posting it.

Yes it can. It doesn't even display quite the same as in a desktop browser. Of course you don't see as much content as on a desktop, but it's perfectly adjusted.

I have no clue what triggers this mobile version, but it works fine on my Android phone in Chrome and has always displayed like this.
I don't know why it doesn't display the "right" forum version on yours. Maybe Dave can have a look (although I suspect he has better things to do ;D )

You can always choose that mode manually via the "Mobile" link at the bottom of each screen. Blue text on black background pattern, a bit hard to see... This setting seems to work in any browser, even at large desktop resolution, and is remembered via some mechanism (cookie, I assume).

😂😂a bit hard to see for most people, very hard for a color-weakness like me😱
its ok now! tks everybody here😃😃

one more question::
I find many websites including forums can recognize what kind of device people use,
and auto-link to the right page which can  fit screen well。Dose our EEV forget this ?😋😛🤑

As siliconwizard had mentioned: The "mobile" display mode is set automatically on some small-screen devices (iOS?), but apparently not on all of them. No idea what criteria are used to detect the screen size, but apparently it's not perfect.

What annoys me is that I actually don’t like the mobile view, and when it comes up on my iPhone or iPad, it does have a link to use the desktop version, but after a month or two, it’ll revert to the mobile view again. A minor annoyance to be sure, but I wish it would just remember my preference once and for all.

This.

+ i don´t intend to collect all logins in one spot (their server?).

I don´t like that it usually not contains the breadcrumb-navigation on top of the several views.
