FYI.

Itead has updated their website and dropped the prices a good deal on 2 layer green PCBs.

I think the spam mail I got only mentioned the larger (at least 100pcs) lots being considerably cheaper, I have not investigated though.
Come and check my projects at http://www.dgkelectronics.com ! I also tweet as https://twitter.com/DGKelectronics

Is it cheaper (including shipping) than let's say elecrow?

A quick test for minimum quantity 2 layer 10cm x 10cm boards shipped to Canada

Itead : $30.16 (10 boards)

Elecrow : $17.84 (5 boards)

As I only need 1 or 2 copies of the board, the number of spares is irrelevant for me.

Elecrow has lead-free HASL for free, Itead is an extra $10.

For a larger 15x20cm board (for your retrocomputer lets say) :
Itead : $96.00   (5 boards)
Elecrow : $76.34 (5 boards)

For very small boards ospark is also a good option. pcbshopper.com is your friend.

I've been using Itead consistently for about 10 orders now and I've not had any reason to change.

They seem to be quicker than a lot of places too. Every order I have made with them (since early last year) has arrived within 11 days from ordering, and that's with the cheap shipping. But if some of the (even) cheaper places are as quick then I'd be happy to try them out.

How the hell did you achieve that? 11 days? Wtf? They usualy don't process my orders faster than 7 days, and then add some 10 to 30 days for shipping.

If you can get a packet from china within about 4 days in the UK... well... our post/customs/whatever sucks like... a sucker.  :'(   :-[

Maybe it's just luck. Or perhaps they really like me or something.

I mean 11 working days, they always process my orders within 3 working days too.

I've had elecrow PCB orders ship 4 days after ordering and then arrive 4 days after that.
