Well, just got the shipment and invoice for my last order.
I had checked out, by accident, to use my terms account (which I didn't have) instead of credit card. Arrow had no options on their website to change this. So I called them up. The woman who answered the phone fixed it, I gave her my credit card info. During all this, I never knew what the shipping was, but being a small order (6 reals of 0603 resistors, 5000 each), I figured the shipping was going to be $5.00 like the last order I had with Arrow. Well, got the invoice this morning. Nearly $17 I was charged for shipping those 6 reels. REDICULOUS! I should have just stayed buying from Mouser. If I had bought from mouser (6.99 flat shipping), the reels were only another $4.00 for all 6. Now I have paid $6.00 more then Mouser (when you count shipping cost) for these 6 reels.
I have asked them to cancel my account, as I am not going to buy from them again. That was BS.
Oh, FYI, they have STILL not fixed the shipping/billing address, nor the eMail address associated with the account, as the woman on the phone had said she did. I received the invoice, and the information was never changed. I am still receiving emails on my personal email account as well. Pretty bad when a large company like this can't get their crap together and fix a small problem like this.
