I keep getting offers of PCB layout jobs in Belgium.

I even had one caller sound really quite surprised and offended when I told him no, I'm not in Belgium, and no, I'm not interested in flying out there every week and coming back home for weekends. Especially not for a "fantastic" opportunity to close down my own business, go back to having a boss, and take a major pay cut

My resume seems to have slowly slipped out of "the system"
Mostly these days I get calls from headhunters asking if I know of anyone, or to explain to them what sort of candidate would best fill some tech role (i.e. doing their job for them)

Nowadays you can't be too carefull enough. Phising schemes continue to become more sophisticated!

Indeed. Looks like Phishing.  Look at the email headers.  Where did it really come from?

Did "Eve" include her personal contact info ?

Corporate people usually do when sending such emails to reduce friction.

If she didn't, that would be another red light for me

And yes the headers are a good way to check email origin

Maybe some HR person got their countries mixed up. Australia... Japan, similar right? 

I get offers through Linkedin sometimes for IT jobs and have to laugh.  Most IT jobs here are near or even at minimum wage.  Yeah I'm not leaving my 30/hour NOC gig for an IT job where I need to be the one guy managing the entire infrastructure for 12/hour.
