What is the type of this connector, LED undercabinet light
« on: April 26, 2023, 10:43:35 am »
I want to link two undercabinet LED lights I bought a while ago from, IIRC, Lidl. Unfortunately I can't locate either a second mains lead or a short cable that can be used to daisy chain two luminaires. Key points: 240V, no earth, polarised for unknown reason, pole pitch ~8.5mm, other dimensions in pictures.

So, what's the type of this connector? My google-foo has failed me :(
There are lies, damned lies, statistics - and ADC/DAC specs.

I don't know if this one from Screwfix would fit... https://www.screwfix.com/p/sylvania-connecting-cable-0-3m-3-pack/546kj

(Also a fan of Lidl undercabinet lighting)
Best Regards, Chris

Difficult to see, both in the photos and in the store. The indentations in the plug look symmetric, which would only work if the light's polarising key was removed.

If worst comes to worst, I'll remove the polarising key and see if an LS-7 connector can be inserted.

Nope; 8.5mm pitch, asymmetric plug.
