I use an Orange Oil + Alcohol based air freshener. It works just as well (if not better), leaves no residue and smells far nicer. :-)
OT for this thread, but a warning is required about this stuff.
My Mrs had some of this type of stuff in the bathroom, resting on top of the toilet cistern, for obvious reasons.
I had a dose of the curry-bum one time and it wasn't pleasant to say the least, but I hadn't yet finished....
So, I sprayed some into the bowl, through my legs, whilst holding the landing gear out of the way.
A few minutes after I had finished and exited the bathroom, I started to get a really bad burning sensation on my crimplene bag and an inspection revealed some redness on one side. Two weeks prior, I had been on the table at the hospital, to have 'the boys' disconnected so there would be no little Mickster's running round. You can imagine the horrible thoughts running through my mind, about busted internal stitches and bleeding to death etc.
Luckily, after going on tip-toes to dangle over the edge of the sink to splash some cold water on the area, I began to get some relief.
Enough relief to tell the Mrs I might need to go to the hospital.
She asked what had led up to when I started feeling the pain, so I told her the above.
She didn't laugh, but she did have a bit of a smile on her face when she informed me that "You're not supposed to get essential oils on your skin, especially sensitive skin."
So, it seems although I thought I was being careful, it only takes a
very light dusting to leave you feeling as though you have been fondled by satan himself!
