Would have been far more effective with a Glock 22.

  • Why shouldn't we question everything?

If his introduction is true, it's all funny up till the point where the hard disk is still in it. Then suddenly very un-funny. Unless it's all just a story, OR he backed the drive up before 'blowing the dust out'. Did he? I couldn't watch all the way through.

The funny thing is, those Dell machines are actually quite solid and stable. Chances are the owner just filled the drive with crapware.

What an idiotic waste of time. That's 10 minutes of my life I won't get back.

That's exactly how we used to repair them back when I was doing Dell warranty work. :-DD  I used a Glock 19.  I will echo Halcyon.  Most of the repair work I did was due to power surges and lightning damage as compared to hardware failures.  Summer time in Florida was our busiest season.  Heat was another when people put them out of sight inside the computer desks and never let the hot air vent.

My wife already complains about the noise my PCB drill makes, using a shotgun for repairs wouldn't impress her.
