B2spice OPA2189 parameterized, need help.
« on: August 27, 2024, 04:04:12 am »
Hello,

I'm trying to make a parameterized version of the OPA189/OPA2189 from the datasheets.

B2 spice has a parameterized opamp that you can plug in values.

I can't seem to understand how I can get the frequency of the poles (zero, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th) from the datasheet, and I also need the "dc differential mode gain" which doesn't seem to be in the datasheet.

Also, I know this is not probably either but which type of "input (type n or p)" does the opa189/opa2189 most likely resemble?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

So, apparently, I'm not the only one that doesn't know how to come up with the pole frequencies from the datasheets.

At least I don't feel so bad now.

Not that it really answers your question, but why don't you use its official Spice model: https://www.ti.com/product/OPA189#design-tools-simulation

It doesnt work in LTspice, after the pspice conversion.  I've never used tina or pspice.

I would be happy if someone would just give me the pole frequencies.

Maybe if someone knows how to read the offical model file and get them from it?

Thanks for the sugestion.
