DGC 939SD+ smart digital soldering iron, ESD safe..
« on: February 03, 2013, 05:57:52 pm »
I bought a whole load of rework stash on eBay.. and it followed a solder iron with the shipment.

Appart from a +30v on the tip off the iron, some wrongly soldered joints and cables innside it, it worked well. :palm:

But.. how should i interpet the  waring sticker on top of the unit?    :-//

Yes i could, but then i got to go outside and drive and take one of the takeaway Chinese away with me home, and i don't think that takeaway Chinese realy means that you can take them away like that..

The iron that is wierd for 220V is showing the temp in the LED in F.. not C...    |O

I think they want to warn you that you should not replace a broken handle with one from another manufacturer, or hell breaks loose. And you shouldn't replace the 2A fuse with something else.

And they mixed some description of how to dance the Time Warp into it

Its use life delay greatly.  And that's really bothers me, because i don't want my life delayed in any way. Specially not when i`m working like soldering things. I really need to be in time because other people have to trust me. I did not buy a time warp machine, it could be a great thing to have but right now i would like being in the time and present place a`m currently are. Maybe i should send it to Sheldon..
