Then again, any YT channel that reviews gear is some kind of advertisement.
However, I think their opinions are fairly modest usually and will highlight some features as described by the marketing team, even though it may be BS for 50% of people out there. They occasionally call out some cons or problems, but not much in the scripts.
I think you'll get way better opinions and content from off the cough and live shows, which is why I think their production values (i.e. too overproduced) are a bit sad. Also their recent videos seem to become more and more "memefied" with annoying voice pitch changes, confusing visual effects and downright weird humor.
Nevertheless I still watch most of their videos for a laugh. If I want to get decent information about computer gear I want to purchase, I will probably look some paper reviews up on e.g. hardware.info, or any other reviewer site.
