Hi guys.
I just got my AVR Dragon, a BIG thank you to all who recommended it. Here is my quandry, however - I want to use WinAVR, not AVR Studio. I am using Windows 7, 64 Bit - do I have to install ALL of AVR Studio, just to allow the drivers to install, or can I get them elsewhere? You know what Googling is like... confusion amasses until... arrgggh!
I simply want to install the AVR Dragon, and use it with WinAVR & AVRdude, that's all. Any seasoned veterans care to assist?
many thanks!
~[EDIT]~
Not to worry, I got it working... a few hours later
Here's cheers to the guy who didn't read the Atmel config page for the ATMega32, and forgot to wire up the VCC header to the ISP header
D'uuuh
All working now
