Now that the Raspberry Pi 4 has native 1G Ethernet, has anyone benchmarked it as a USB/IP bridge?
Cryptocurrency has taught me to love math and at the same time be baffled by it.

Cryptocurrency lesson 0: Altcoins and Bitcoin are not the same thing.

I use there  USB to Fiber Kit: http://www.studiofibersystem.com/
The legal import costed me a Ton of Fees () but the work.
I hope the will work with my ESXi to. I also have an Icron Set but the first one was broken (maybe a  cold Solder Joint) now I got an replacement I have to mount.

Well an "ordinary" Fiber Cable is the best thing because the length doesnt realy matter in a Home use. 10m, 20m, 30m,... 100m isnt any problem. And when someone destroy the Cable a new one dont cost me that much to replace.

I would never buy such Corning for SDR Stuff only if the USB Connection dont matter.
Made in Japan, destroyed in Sulz im Wienerwald.

Which of exact product do you have?

Did you test if USB 3 Superspeed (5 GBit) and also USB 2 Highspeed (480 MBit) transfers work?
