So I'm down in Baltimore MD for the summer and what I do in my spare time is volunteer as a teacher for people with disabilities. One of the things we teach them to do is how to use public transportation all by themselves. This was actually my first time riding any bus when I started with this program. Talk about the lowest of low. The people that ride it are all under the influence, uneducated, and just uncivilized. The other day there were these two women in their 40's riding in the handicapped seats up front on the bus. One was on methadone, she was falling over and kept doing that nodding off thing. The other woman had a name tag sticker on her shirt that indicated she just volunteered at the aquarium. I'm guessing it was a requirement for some sort of rehab program, possibly court ordered. She was one of the few sober people and she was not enjoying herself, so she told the other woman "Fucking sit up straight bitch!". Well the other woman on methadone started arguing with her standing right in front of her. The exchange went like this:
"Well, I'll fucking... well i'll fucking, well i'll fucking".
"You will fucking what bitch? You're all fucked up on methadone or Xanax. Don't think I don't know"
"Fuck you bitch"
"Oh yeah I'll fucking kwon tae do your ass. I'm a black belt at karate."
So the students are getting all excited thinking there is going to be a fight. Then the bus stops, the messed up lady falls over, then just stands up and gets off the bus like nothing had happened. Unbelievable. Everytime I have riden the bus there is some sort of incident. The other thing I have noticed is that NO ONE will go to the back of the bus. They crowed the front to the point a line forms with people trying to get on. There is a little machine up front that you put money into and a paper ticket comes out, and once they pay that, they just stand next to it. Since I'm up front with the disabled student I tell them to move back. Everyone said they couldn't because their stop was next. But the next stop comes and they don't get off. There are even signs that say exit the back of the bus. Then this lady tries to get on with THREE huge contractor bags of what I sounded like aluminum cans and she's trying to fit them down the isle, but of course will not go to the back of the bus. This caused some dude to spill his beer all over one of my students. There is a reason why these people are not at work or driving in their cars at 2:00 on a Tuesday afternoon. Its just disgusting that people let themselves get to that point and have no regard for the few sober people who are trying to ride the bus to work. The other thing is we have waited for the bus for over two and a half hours. This is on a route that has a bus pickup every thirty minutes, so that means not one, not two, but FIVE busses were not late but weren't even operating. Next time you think you have it bad, pay the 2.00$ to ride the bus. Well worth the entertainment at least.

I think you need to address this to your local authority, not this forum. Topic locked I am afraid.
