you know the trust soldering iron/station. It is a very important thing to electronics. But my work mate pranked me by putting rice in between the heating element and the iron. I got one of the new soldering stations. So when i turned it on at set it to 600 degrees Fahrenheit, the work bench started to smell funny. Smells like burning rice cakes. I didn't think much of it and thought my work mate burned something. But then my iron starts making popping and cracking noises. I immediately turned it off and inspected it for water... that's when my work mate started laughing on the other side. I was furious knowing he did something. I angrily asked him what he did to my expensive iron and simply replied "rice". So that's how he pranked me. Since he is also on the EEVblog a lot. I want to tell him a personal message: F#CK YOU MATE! I HAD TO BUY A NEW $140 HEATING ELEMENT!
