As every "Social networking" site that spies on their members err... that gathers their users' information does!

In my opinion, prevention is the best cure!

Facebook comes instantly in my mind, where hordes of clueless individuals, "dumb fucks" according to Facebook's founder & CEO Mark Zuckerberg, fatally expose theirselves beyond measure, waiting in return to increase their "on-line friends" count while they do not care about their privacy; even if most of them are not even familiar with the concept of "privacy"...

I can understand them; my question is, what is the excuse of the "educated" ones who do exactly the same thing?

to call any online system a social network is a contradiction in itself, there is nothing social about facebook, it is infact very antisocial. As Hero well knows when my Rotaract district suddenly went tacitly to facebook for major district communication I politely went bazerk !

It annoys me how people just assume you are on facebook, I had to join to keep up but I'm not stupid enough to play all the stupid retarded games and click on the same old dating adverts. Some people really should not be allowed onto the internet  

I still don't even know what twitter is but the name must say it all in more than one sense

Every social network or simple messaging program that you run as client on your PC.

In the beginning it starts as an innocent communication tool,
and later on , becomes as another door of worthless marketing spam.

I do have a profile on FB , mostly so to be tracked down from people who knows me,
than for new friends.  
I had cripple all the ad-dons , and even limit my personal information up to a level.
I hate too the dating adverts .
Once one Girl from Africa had an crash on me, and send me a picture too .  ( ICQ times )

twitter traffic comes mostly from mobile networks

to reduce cost all mobile data providers in uk use NAT

the likely out come will narrow this to cell or particular area
