I found a Wavetek 188-S-1257 being sold for super cheap as-is, and I'm wondering if Wavetek stuff was any good. I can't seem to find a lot of chatter on the net. I'm mostly just wondering how hard it will be to repair, should it be broken.

I guess nowadays everyone is owned by someone else, except the ones that own everything.
