Cool I'll have to check that out when I have the time.

There are other videos from that same poster with what seems to be some conference with the DOE in a hotel function room.


Taking the Pu out of the spent fuel is very similar to how you get gold out of solution using SMB in aqua Regia, just a few more steps. If you take too much pu in solution of the right geometry you can have a criticality event as almost happened at Hanford or one of those sites with the terrible track record.
