What was 7300 series and where to find info?

More info:
Some are newer than that book, PCF7325, and PCF7328 others were listed these are all Phillips/NPX.
I assume the equipment was designed in the early 70's now.

Do you have more info on where you heard about "7300 series"?
My usual sources of information on old logic IC families yields no results.

Acording to 70s databook 5300s and 7300s are "Modified DTL" (in lieu of 5400 and 7400 being TTL?)
The sequence aren't interchangeable. 7300 for example is a JKFF

Thanks, now that I had a chance to look at my list instead of my memory 1 item was listed the 7331 no others so still looking for:NPX IC's datasheets PCF7317, 7319, 7325, 7328, and 7333 maybe replacements SN53xx

I suspect you're looking at the wrong thing unless those ICs you refer to are from the late 60s. Philips/NXP PCF73xx are much newer proprietary ICs (seems mostly automotive-security related) and not simple logic blocks unlike the 7300 series that we did manage to find in this thread.

This datasheet suggests that the PCF73xx chips are the ROM versions of the PCF79xx E-ROM chips:
