Hi,
For the sake of company security, our company's laptops are modified so that
its slow to open and close folders. This is so that staff cant quickly go in and out of loads
of folders and see all the documents/schematics etc. (and quickly copy them, what have you)
So when you click a folder, its a good 4 to 5  seconds before anything happens. -It just hangs.
The thing is, i dont pose a threat to this company, and so do you know how to
get rid of this feature.?

I work in cybersecurity and this is not a tactic that is used. It just sounds like your laptop/SOE is shit. The solution is to get better laptops that work properly.

Any half decent company will have rules and triggers in-place so they can see exactly what you're accessing or whether you've copied a mass of data, onto removable storage, for example. If you break the company rules, you lose your job, or worse, you have lawyers coming after you.
