Component tester, TC T7-H or PEAK Atlas DCA75 pro?
« on: June 09, 2021, 05:46:34 pm »
I want to buy a component tester, but I'm skeptical which one I should buy, a Chinese TC T7-H or a British DCA75 pro?

Thanks
❤ ❤

IMO it depends for what you want to do. The major advantage of the DCA75 is indeed the interface with the PC. If you are interested in just a quick component checker, then the Chinese tester is a much better bang for the buck.

At first glance the DCA75 tests a wider variety of devices, but the Chinese has a higher test voltage and current, which skews the tip in its favour.

Oh, the "whys" of the datasheets... The information is there not to be an axiomatic truth, but instead each speck of data must be slowly inhaled while carefully performing a deep search inside oneself to find the true metaphysical sense...

The DCA75 is pretty solid, I've not had any battery issues either - the last time I replaced the batteries was about 5 years ago!
